Ministries at Grace
One of the most exciting ministries at Grace Bible is serving the little ones we have in our nursery. Our goal is to have loving, volunteer nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment which will provide you with peace of mind while you attend worship services or classes. Three-year olds have a special class during Sunday School and join the nursery for all other services. All infants through three-year olds are welcome to take part in our nursery.
Grace’s ministry to children continues beyond the nursery. We provide Junior Church (ages 4-6) during the Sunday morning worship service. Sunday School classes are also provided for all ages. All children’s ministries are led by caring teachers whose focus is to share God’s love with the children and provide a Christian atmosphere where the children can learn more about God and what He has done for them. On Wednesday nights, ages K-4-grade 6 participate in Kids4Truth. There are fun activities, games, awards, a time in God’s Word, and special theme nights once a month. Each child is encouraged to learn the major doctrines from the Bible by daily devotions at home, Scripture memory, and exciting teaching each week.
Students in grades 7-12 will enjoy an exciting atmosphere of growing in the Lord through application of God’s Word in their weekly Wednesday youth group meetings. Youth group activities provide opportunities for students to invite friends to hear the Gospel and build strong and healthy relationships. The teens at Grace are a vital part of ministry. They are active in our church services, missions trips, and outreach ministries.
College & Career
With many college students studying at UMass Lowell and Middlesex Community College, we offer weekly Bible study and fellowship time for those in this transitional time of life. The Friday night Bible study is hosted at one of our members’ homes and you can expect an informal time with plenty of snacks, making new friends, and studying transforming truth from God’s Word.
We desire to be intentional about training disciples of Jesus Christ. Relationships are the key to discipleship training. They also enjoy a ladies’ Bible study that is taught by many of the ladies of Grace. The highlight of the calendar year is the annual Cookie Swap that is a formal dinner usually the first Saturday of December. The men at Grace enjoy working together on projects at church as well as serving at the Cookie Swap. A men’s Bible study has been added recently as we desire to intentionally look to train faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Our goal at Grace is to challenge every man who joins our church to become faithful at home and church and eventually be able to serve the congregation as a deacon or elder.
As Christ commissioned the leaders of the new church to make disciples of all nations, we are privileged to be used by God to obey this command. We believe that every follower of Christ will find joy in carrying the Gospel to their neighbor and to the ends of the earth. As a church, we desire to reach our community for Christ by offering service opportunities through after-school Bible clubs, homeless shelter Bible study, Old Home Day, and missions trips both domestic and foreign.
The Bible reveals that God created music for His glory. Knowing that, we desire to use music to that purpose in our ministries at Grace. For our worship services, we use traditional and modern hymns. The choir, special music, and congregational singing all focus attention on Christ as we worship Him together in song. Members have many opportunities to exercise their God-given abilities by participating in the choir and various vocal and instrumental ensemble groups.
After worshipping the Lord, one of the greatest things we can do is to connect with each other in fellowship. At Grace, we provide many different types of Fellowships that give attenders the opportunity to connect with each other and build strong, biblical friendships. In addition to Youth Group, College and Career, Ladies and Men’s Bible studies, we also connect through our Fellowship Lunches, Classic Car Shows, and several yearly activities planned for the whole family.
